A two-day event (3rd & 4th), consulting pairs, 7 points per round Main Knockout with a partial Progressive Consolation and Last Chance. Optional side pools per pair: WTA £30. £60 & £20 pools for Main. £20 Consolation and Last Chance. Format is two pairs playing head-to-head, consulting. Initially each player rolls the dice and the highest rollers on each team play first being advised by their partner. You remain as the player until you lose a game after which the other team member plays. If a team cannot agree on a move, the player overrides the advisor. There is a time allowance of two hours per 7-point match, and on the Sunday, (Last 8), clocks will be issued to ensure no matches overrun. (Poker and Backgammon in the evening)

This event is open to all players. Non-Biba members can take out a Temporary Biba membership on the day at a cost of £5.           This is a Biba Grand Prix Event 

For those attending the Friday night there is a Warm-up knockout, Registration £5 with optional side-pools, the winner of which will win full entry into the Main on Saturday - this is also open to non-Biba members at no extra charge.

There will also be an extra prize: Two night's accommodation, dinner, b&b at half price to attend the Biba World Championship in July. Registration is £10 for those interested in winning this weekend prize. This is in addition to the £5 Registration to win full entry into the Scottish Main on Saturday (as mentioned above). Registration for both prizes is open to everyone, Biba and non-Biba members.

In the event that a non-weekend entrant wins the Friday KO the prize will go to the highest placed entrant who opted to pay the £10 extra Registration. Should two or more share this position there will be a playoff to decide the winner.

Those entrants not interested in winning this weekend prize can still Register for £5 for the Main Full entry prize.
